Open Day opportunities at Community Centre

Get along to the open day at the Rotorua Community Centre on Tuesday 9 September.  Localted at 16 Te Ngae Rd ( Opp. Countdown car park) the open day runs from 10 am to 1 pm and  all the groups in the centre are opening their doors to general public and interested parties.

The notice sent to The Mud says the event gives visitors an opportunity, for example, to tour the MENZ SHED and chat to some members, donate or ask CURTAINBANK if you know someone who needs warm curtaining, or find out just how LITERACY works, not just for reading and writing but helpful for filling in forms etc.

"Need inspired about feeding your family? The JACOB WILLEMSEN TRUST whowill help you get started with growing fruit and veggies and show you how to prepare good nourishing meals at low costs. As well, AUTISM, who give wonderful assistance to people with Autism, Aspergers and their families, caregivers etc.

"We will have light refreshments on hand and an added bonus, from LITERACY is the TRAVELLING BOOKS, these are free and cover a great range, from adults to children and only stipulation is you pass them along to someone else to enjoy after you have read your book.""
