Abuse of our older people happens. Talk to lawyers or community organisations and they will tell you about the ways that older people are abused in Rotorua.

It might be spending their money on things they don’t want or need, or it might be not allowing them to get the medical care or other help they need.

There are very easy ways to guard against this abuse, and Age Concern, with Dowthwaite Law, is running a free seminar called Elder Safe to tell you about them.

At the free seminar you can hear about making Enduring Powers of Attorney to guard against abuse, and you can receive a special offer to make Enduring Powers of Attorney for yourself or someone you care about.

    Seminar Details:

Parksyde Community Centre, 7 Tarewa Place, Rotorua

    Saturday 14 June 2014, 10:30am – 11:30am

    Admission: Free
