Charity seeks freezers to help bulk chicken donation

    1 4 2020

Freezers are urgently sought to help a Rotorua charity to freeze a pallet load of chickens being supplied to provide food for people in difficulty.  Food supplier Inghams as supplied the chickens to the Visions of a Helping Hand Charitable Trust Rotorua.

The trust has been at the forfront of attempts to help the city's homeless population and those who are struggling with economic difficulties.

Founder, Tiny Deane, told The Mud that Inghams regularly supplied food stuff to help the cause.

The chicken comprised wings, fillets, boneless and big chickens.

The chickens were supplied from Ingham's Waharoa site.

"We are putting them into our chiller but we need anybody with a spare freezer to help," Tiny said.

If you can assist, please contact Tiny Deane on: 027506 1313
