26 March 2014

The Mud's Mike Smith went to a gig celebrating Rotorua’s young singer-song writers.  Held upstairs at the Kusab’s building, the event was organised by John Hamilton of MusicWorks part of New Zealand Music Month.

The Music Month events were supported by the Rotorua District Council community arts officer Marc Spijkerbosh and Carole Parker. With John Hamilton and The Rogue Stage's Karin Vincent, Marc and Carole have helped organise a number of events.

The playlist for young singer/songwriter event is as follows:

1. Nev Rolston - Mandela (original)

2. David Breetvelt - Wondering Nation (original)

3. Arianna - All of Me (John Legend)

4. Ngamoe Morgan - Could We Try Again (original)

5. Ellis Carrington - Caro Mio Ben (Giuseppe Giordani)

6. Stella Maris - Traces of Pain (Original)

Thanks to the organisers and this bunch of talented young Rotorua singer-songwriters.
